Hi, I am Shreyas, an enthusiastic vehicle design engineer with a master's degree in motorsport engineering and bachelor's degree in automobile engineering. Currently leading the R&D team developing automotive brakes. Experienced in design and development of vehicles from a mechanical design stand-point, I have profound understanding of the functioning of an automobile.
I am an Automotive engineer specializing in vehicle dynamics and chassis in particular. I have been involved in multiple sub-system development from a variety of technical areas focussing on becoming an overall Automotive engineer. In my current role at Lapinus, I am focussed on brakes development, leading the R&D team and deciding on the future technical development.
As a doctoral candidate, at Eindhoven University, I undertook the role of Systems Design Engineer Trainee at ASML, where I gained valuable experience in 1D systems design and analysis of complex thermodynamic systems and model-based systems engineering. I also hold a Master's degree in Motorsport from Oxford Brookes University and a Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering from SRM University, where I was involved in various aspects of automotive design and participated in the Formula Student competition. I have published two papers in SAE journals, one on autonomous vehicles and one on bicycle wheel assemblies.
As a passionate and dedicated Motorsport Engineer, I am proud to be part of the noble engineering community. I have a deep understanding of automotive systems design and a wide set of skills and expertise in related fields, such as 1D simulation, CAE, (CAD) design, kinematics, and dynamics. I am committed to finding creative and innovative solutions, driving progress in the field of engineering, and making a positive impact on society.
